Mail-a-Meal

“We are here to serve our neighbors that have nowhere else to turn”
A part of the Montana Food Bank Network, Mail-a-Meal is a program designed to reach food insecure Montanans without access to emergency food assistance, or nutritious quality food. Those in need simply fill out an intake form, and Mail-a-Meal delivers a 50 pound box of food to each qualifying recipient’s door within one week. The program also specifies the contents of each box, for example including low sugar and low sodium products for senior citizens.
The Montana Food Bank Network operates 6 Mail-a-Meal drop-sites, shipping multiple food boxes to a central location, where a community partner distributes the boxes to those who have requested them.
Eligible Counties:
Big Horn, Blaine, Broadwater, Chouteau, Daniels, Fallon, Garfield, Golden Valley, Judith Basin, Liberty, Madison, McCone, Petroleum, Pondera, Powder River, Powell, Prairie,  Richland, Rosebud, Roosevelt, Sheridan, Teton, Toole, Treasure, Valley, and Wheatland
The best way for community members to help Mail-a-Meal reach as many Montanans as possible is by donating directly on the Montana Food Bank Website, with either a one time or monthly donation toward food boxes.
